Retained Safety Officer
INTRODUCTION
With developments in Health and Safety legislation occurring almost on a daily basis many companies struggle to maintain legislative compliance. SAFE AND SOUND have provided highly professional consultancy support for over 15 years and for company's requiring a regular professional input we have developed our RETAINED SERVICES CONTRACT.
The RETAINED SERVICES CONTRACT offers safety consultancy support on a scheduled basis. Following a initial meeting a programme is agreed between ourselves and your company to undertake works on a rolling programme basis. Our most popular contract is to provide a consultant for 1 day per month to undertake scheduled compliance works in order to keep the client organisation up to date with their obligations.
The commitment required is set at the outset for a 12 month contract period with a minimum of 4 days a year. The more days ordered the cheaper the day rate and the more comprehensive the service. Every site day undertaken is backed up with a brief service report detailing works undertaken and confirming the schedule for the next visit.

These services are supplied as part of a strategic approach for developing a safety culture within your organisation and can be enhanced and managed by utilising the AssessNET Safety Management system.
COST
For a Retained Services Contract is supplied on the basis of a price set for a pre-agreed number of days for a 12 month period. The day rate will include travel expenses and will be invoiced on a monthly basis.
Emergency call out can also be supplied and we can act as your Health and Safety Officer and represent your organisation during HSE inspections and/or as an expert witness as and when required. An extra cost will be charged for this service and for Training Support.
